All matches are played according to the P4P Rules, with one important difference:

Serve

To make it easier for foreign players (coming from tables without a serving hole), the serve can optionally be done by placing the ball at the middle player figure of the five-man rod.

You must then confirm that your oppent is ready to play, and then move the ball from one
player figure to another. One second after the ball contacts the second player figure the time limit starts and the ball can be legally advanced. You don't have to stop the ball for a full second after touching the second player figure.

This serving rule applies to all occasions where you serve the ball from the five-man rod, and is identical to the ITSF serving rule.
